Our Goal

We strive to educate our patients about their dental health and to provide the highest quality dental care available in a caring, friendly setting, and in a timely manner. We continually seek perfection, accepting excellence.

Meeting Your Needs

We want you to attain the highest level of dental health which you choose. We will help you attain this level of health at whatever pace you desire.  We hope that by reaching this level of dental health you will enjoy an attractive, comfortable, and functional smile. We will present to you the most ideal plan of treatment for your needs as well as other alternatives from which you may choose.  We believe you should be educated and aware of the best that dentistry can provide for you.

Our Standards

All dental procedures in our office are performed under high-magnification and fiber optic lighting. The laboratories we employ for our fixed and removable prosthodontics are known for their high quality. After all, this is your smile, we’re talking about!

We utilize high-noble metals for crown and bridge dentistry. The results of using these metals is a beautiful, customized, precision crown or bridge. Front teeth that require crowns are enhanced with the beauty of a myriad of customized all porcelain systems providing the ultimate in cosmetic dentistry. All to ensure we provide you with the best crown or bridge that we can offer.

Sterilization of Instruments

We conscientiously practice the highest standards of sterilization for your protection.  We use disposable items wherever possible.  Autoclaves are used to sterilize instruments that are not disposable. This is an absolute requirement for sterility. These autoclaves are monitored and tested on a regular schedule by Emory University Medical Laboratories to ensure their performance in sterilizing instruments.  Your peace of mind is very important to us as well as your health and safety.

Team Approach

At your first visit you will become aware of how our office functions as a team. As your relationship with us progresses, you will come in contact with all of our staff members. Each has a specific responsibility in providing your dental care.  We are proud of the training, skill, and ability of our team.

You will be welcomed in our office by our patient care coordinator.  She will help you in scheduling future appointments, will file your dental insurance, and work with you to make financial arrangements.

We have dental assistants who work directly with Dr. Westbrook.  They are in charge of obtaining diagnostic information and assisting the doctor with any procedures that might be necessary to improve your dental health.

Our Registered Dental Hygienists are in charge of the dental hygiene program.  They provide periodontal treatment, dental cleanings, sealants for children, and home care instructions.  Good oral hygiene is paramount in preventive dentistry.

While each member of our team has individual responsibilities, we all stand ready to help you at any time.

We routinely invest in continuing education courses, keeping abreast of new procedures and materials.  We also stay updated on the most current sterilization and barrier techniques to protect you and ourselves.
